It’s been a crazy and hectic few days since the Grand Finale of The Voice and life is beginning to return to some sort of normality. Well, to be honest ‘normality’ is probably not the best word to use. This is a very new world for me. One where busking hasn’t featured once in my day plan… it’s been a very long time since that has been the case and frankly it’s a little weird!

First up, let me congratulate my fellow finalists, Nathan Hawes, Liam Maihi and of course Ellie Drennen. In addition all of the people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make the show happen week in and week out. Job well done guys.

It has been a surreal yet awesome journey and I am extremely proud to have been the eventual runner-up among such incredible vocal talent. I would also like to this opportunity to thank my team coaches, Joel and Benji Madden, as well as the three other coaches, Delta Goodrem, Ricky Martin and Jessie J, for their advice and support throughout the show. Money just doesn’t buy that stuff!

I am glad to report that since the lights were switched off at Fox Studios on Sunday there is a lot of discussion and planning for what is going to happen in the next chapter of my musical journey. Nothing is finalised but I can promise you that they include new music, concerts and potentially even a cheeky bit of busking – so watch this space for more details soon.

Last, but in no means least, I would like to thank all of my fans, without whom none of this would be happening. Your constant voting, sharing, and kind words of support have kept me focused on achieving the best outcome. Thanks you so, so much!

I ask that you now stay with me as I explore a host of exciting new musical possibilities and take to the road to bring my music to you.

Peace out… for now!
